About
Dr. Bradley Prestidge is the CEO, President, founder, and Medical Director of the Texas Cancer Clinic and Texas Prostate Institute, both of which are located in San Antonio. He has the largest prostate seed implant program in the South Central United States. Dr. Prestidge is considered to be an international expert in brachytherapy with more than 20 years experience. He has a specific expertise in permanent prostate brachytherapy dosimetric analysis and defining implant quality.From 1989 to 1998, Dr. Prestidge was activate in the US Air Force and served as the Chairman to the Department of Radiation Oncology at the largest Military Hospital in the United States, Wilford Hall Medical Center. He began the very first prostate brachytherapy program for the military healthcare system. For five years, Bradley Prestidge, MD was the consultant to the Surgeon General.
In his state-of-the-art facility, Dr. Bradley Prestidge instructs courses every month to doctors from across the US in advanced prostate seed implantation and High Dose Rate implantation. He has authored more than 50 book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles and has provided consultation for several of the seed manufacturing and equipment related companies in research and development. He is on editorial boards for a number of journals and has taught refresher courses in prostate brachytherapy. Dr. Prestidge has also lectured at numerous major academic locales and presentations in the US, Europe, Japan, and South America.
